Real sources genuinely disagree on the exact original tuning (some say a D6 open tuning, others plain Open D, others standard tuning down a half step) — rather than guess, this page sidesteps the question entirely. What's real and undisputed is the harmony: a I–IV–Imaj7 vamp. Here it's refretted in Jimmy Page's own D G C G C D tuning, just to hear it somewhere new.
